Serbia has snow days from December onwards and the mountains are a magical place to be cold outside.

Kopaonik

If you love skiing, Kopaonik is perfect for you. The largest ski resort in Serbia can accommodate all categories of skiers, from beginners to top-level experienced skiers. Located in Western Serbia, Kopaonik has 55 km worth of ski runs for those who want to enjoy alpine skiing and about 12km for cross-country with 26 ski lifts. And if you like night time skiing, check out the trail “Small Lake” (Malo Jezero).

On top of that, you’ll get to see the beautiful mountain scenery that easily rivals Switzerland’s biggest ski resort peaks.

In addition, for the youngest skiers and other beginners, who are making their first ski steps, there is a special space “ski kindergarten” with a conveyor belt and a carousel that makes it easy to master basic skiing skills. There are also numerous ski schools where you can hire instructors or join a group which is even more fun.

Ski resort Kopaonik also has a snow-board park, Snow Park. The snow park is 450 m long. It is equipped with cutting edge features, as well as with signaling and safety devices. It is available for both beginners and advanced skiers and snowboarders alike.

Tara

Tara, in Western Serbia, is a mountainous national park, clad in dense forests with numerous clearings and meadows, cliffs, ravines and caves. You’ll find stunning nature scenery as well as fantastic hiking opportunities.

There are three separate trails connected by a cable car, including a gondola lift to the highest peak. For skiing and snowboarding, there are 13 km of slopes available and 6 ski lifts. Experienced skiers can enjoy night skiing, while extreme sports fans have their own trail for freestyle skiing.

Dobre Vode

The main ski area in Dobre Code is the ski resort Goc. here you will find amazing skiing opportunities and a chance to relax in beautiful natural surrounding.
