Strike a pose, it’s that time of the year again.
If you ever visit Bellevue, WA this time of the year and you love fashion, Fashion Week Bellevue is just the place for you.
Not only that you will get to see the latest Fashion Trends for the upcoming season, but 100% of your ticket will go directly to Bellevue Life Spring Foundation, (Helping children and families for over 100 years).
It cannot get better that that!
Flashes, and smiling faces, people were so happy to be there.
Last month of October, fashionistas from Bellevue, Seattle and all around gathered to attend the first Live Fashion Week, since the pandemic started.
Excited yet nervous, guests were gathering in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency Hotel, as I was sipping my first Cosmo in the lobby bar.
Down the hall, behind the closed door you could hear the sound check, and the staff were running around for last minute preparations. We were there, it was happening, it suddenly dawned me. There is nothing I love more this time of the year.
In couple of minutes the pre-show party started, and guests were invited in. Posh Party 2021, bubbles and small bites, along with beautiful guests presenting their look for the night.
Flashes, and smiling faces, people were so happy to be there.
Suddenly I was approached by one of the photographers. They loved my boots they said. White rainy boots from Zara made the cut, I love carrying an affordable fashion in the most stylish way

What a night!
Soon after, we took our seats and patiently waited for the show to start. This year the host of the show was KOMO’S Tyrah Majers and the opening speech was given to a representative of “Bellevue Life Spring”.
As every other year the full amount of our tickets was donated to their charity organization.
This year help was given in a form of food, clothing, education and emergency assistance to approximately 4200 children with a risk of hunger in our community! What a night!
As the Show was starting, we boarded on a time machine that took us from the 1950’s to nowadays in celebration of Bellevue Fashion Week 75th Anniversary.
Express, Talbots, Banana Republic, Uniqlo, Zara, Chico’s and Coach were some of the brands that showcased their designs this year.
Gorgeous models in all sizes were taking the runway in outfit by outfit as the guests were clapping in the rhythm of jazz, blues, house and rock and roll.
About the looks
For our everyday look, let’s bring color into our rainy and snowy winters, nothing can stop us from having a little fun.
Big puffed coats in neon pink, combined with neon green pants and bags in the shades of yellow are “screaming trendy for the upcoming season”.
Cozy cuts in a form of comfortable knit pant and oversized sweater, or silk skirts in animal print combined with simple shirt, topped with vest, accessorized with a colorful beret are “speaking the language of Winter 2021”.
And let’s place a highlight on the inventible oversized Sherpa coat that many of us may already have, as it was very trendy during the last 2 winters, accessorize it with a head band or a cool hat, and you got yourself your most fashionable winter look!
Is it time to go back to office, or jump on our next work call? Show off your sass in a sky- blue, cherry- red, or lemon- yellow suit, and kick off the look with a comfortable sneaker, or and elegant pump. The sky is the limit.
Or perhaps it’s time for a party? From a night out with friends to Holiday Parties, you won’t be wrong if you go for sparkles, after all, we all need a moment of shine after 2 difficult years.
And before we knew, carried away on the enchanting time machine of this year’s Posh Party, it was already time to go. “Don’t Stop the party by Pit Bull” was the closing theme song for the show and we were all on our feet, clapping, as the models were taking their closing walk, only this year in a form of dance, as celebration of life!
We visited one more time the lobby for post- show deserts and drinks, letting the impression from the show sink in, as we later carried them on into our nights!
Looking forward next year’s show, and till then you can shop all the looks here:
