Flying business class is pretty impressive, especialy with an airline like Turkish.
Whether it is a short or long-haul flight, we all prefer to enjoy the comfort and advantages it gives us, starting from the airport, up to 30 000 FT in the air. Today, we will go through the Turkish Airlines Business Class Review.

I enjoyed this beautiful lounge during my recent trip from Istanbul to Seattle. Spread over 5600 square meters, the Miles&Smiles Lounge can host up to 765 guests. This place has everything from a premier location close to all gates to exceptional amenities and features for complete comfort.

I loved lounging here. The food in the restaurant is top-notch, the sweets are delicious, the service is fantastic, and the overall experience is superb.

Welcome on Board Turkish Airlines
Boarding and Ground Services
The perfect way to start our Turkish Airlines Business Class review is by assessing boarding and ground services.
When flying business with Turkish Airlines, boarding is quick and efficient. Right upon the beginning, I went through the priority lane straight to the aircraft, with zero to no wait time.
Upon arrival at the aircraft, I got greeted by the flight attendants and escorted to my seat. If you have a heavier carry-on, the flight attendants will assist you in storing it properly. They also offer to hang your coat in the closet so it won’t get wrinkled, which is especially lovely when traveling during winter, and our coats are hefty.
After settling down, I got offered a welcome drink(a non-acholic beverage), and the choices included fresh lemonade, orange juice, fresh raspberry, and water.
While sipping on my drink and familiarizing myself with my seat, I got provided with a menu, headphones, slippers, an amenity kit, and a blanket. Afterward, the flight chef approached me, introduced the menu, and took my order for in-flight drinks and meal choices.
Upon completion of ground services, the flight attendants went around the cabin for a final clearance and safety check to ensure everyone was ready for take-off.
Seat Review
Turkish Airlines Business class seats are comfortable and spacious, providing many great features.
Solo traveler’s tip: When choosing your seat, lean ftowards a window one because it is single and provides more space and privacy.
My seat was spacious, and I could stretch my legs thoroughly with plenty of space left (and I am tall). On the left-hand side were controls for adjusting your position, like take-off and landing position, meal, relax, and full flat positions. Yes, you heard that right, these seats can go fully flat, like beds, my favorite feature of all.
The seat also features a retractable tray table that is spacious enough for in-flight meals and working on your laptop, and a flat-screen IFE and remote, providing the latest movies, shows, live tv, and music. Another feature includes a reading light, with multiple levels for adjustment, and a “hidden button” to lower the side handles, offering you even more space, as well as a DND (do not disturb button, for those who prefer privacy).
Overall, I liked the seats; they offered comfort during my 12+ hour flight from Istanbul to Seattle.
Amenities Review
Menu: Turkish Airlines Menu is very extensive and versatile. They offer various choices for appetizers, entrees, desserts, and drinks. The menu comprises international and traditional cuisine and beverages.
Within this menu, there is something for everyone.
Guests Info: Guests can also choose their special meal upon booking their tickets and report any allergies.
Headphones: When flying Business Class with Turkish Airlines, you get noise cancelation headphones. These headphones are great, and they genuinely block all outside noises and offer the ultimate in-flight entertainment experience.
Coccinele Amenity Kit: This kit includes face and body products you need throughout your flight, like an eye mask, ear plugs, refreshing face mist, lip balm, body lotion, socks, hair tie, toothbrush, toothpaste, and a beautiful leather pouch.
Comfortable blanket and set of fresh sheets and pillows: Flying business class with this airline provides you with a cozy blanket and fresh sheets and pillows for your ultimate relaxation and comfort.
Slippers: Last but not least on our amenities list are slippers. Another great feature that Turkish Airlines offers. Slippers are very convenient, especially when you want to stretch your legs or visit the toilet, and you don’t need to don your shoes each time.

Food and beverage Review
Food and beverage are next on our Turkish Airlines Business Class Review list.
Right after take off, it was time to serve dinner. The appetizer menu included mushroom soup, Turkish mezze, salmon tartare, and smoked trout.
The entree choices were between a chicken and lamb dish or vegetarian pasta.
The bread and butter were warm, and the table featured silverware wrapped in fresh linen, salt and pepper, and ambient light.
The beverage list had wine selections from around the world, traditional Turkish wines, and a variety of aperitives and digestives.
My choice of drink was a Sauvignon Blanc paired perfectly with my dinner.
During our meal, the flight attendants regularly replenished our bread and drinks and checked if everything was all right.
It is time for dessert
The dessert menu was great, so I decided to go for it. I certainly wasn’t going to miss the traditional Turkish delights, aka my favorite baklava. Other choices included cheesecake, chocolate fondant, a selection of cheese, and fresh fruit.
Turn-Down Service
Post-dinner, the flight attendants passed through the cabin to offer turn-down service to all guests. They placed fresh linens and cushions on our seats and dimmed the cabin lights.
At this point, the Movie Bar opened. I could choose from dried fruits, mixed nuts, homemade cookies, crackers, potato chips, chocolate, fresh fruits, and my choice of drink.
It was time to relax, watch a movie, enjoy this bar, and sleep. I certainly had time to do all the above since my flight was longer than 12 hours.
Breakfast before landing
Three hours before landing, it was time for breakfast. They gradually turned on the cabin lights and offered warm towels and refreshment drinks, followed by breakfast service on demand.
The menu included a fruit and vegeatable platter with chocolate pudding, followed by scrambled eggs or traditional Turkish burek.
I went for the burek because it is one of my favorite foods. It’s a meat pie prepared specially, and it’s delicious. I paired my breakfast with a strong cappuccino and a glass of fresh orange juice.
I enjoyed dining up in the air with Turkish Airlines. The food choices were extensive, and my favorite was their traditional dishes. The wine list and their coffee and liquor selection were also excellent.
Service Review
The flight attendants were courteous and punctual and had excellent knowledge of safety and service.
In Flight Entertainment Review
Last but not least on our Turkish Airlines Business Class Review list is the IFE.
This airline has excellent In-Flight Entertainment. Here, I could enjoy all-time classics, the latest movie collection, exciting shows, live tv, and all kinds of music. The screen is touch, but there is also a remote control and noise cancelation headsets for the best in-flight entrainment experience.
Top of Descent and Landing
Before arriving in Seattle, the crew cleared the cabin of all derbies, performed the safety checks, and thanked each one of the guests for flying with Turkish Airlines.
The landing was smooth and pleasant, besides the heavy rain in Seattle.
Then the Captain made an arriving announcement, and our screens showcased gate connection and luggage pick-up information.
